While the abstinence regime we know is quite strict and cumbersome, we don’t necessarily have to follow it 100%. You can make the practice of self -abstinence more practical by knowing the tips and emphasizing the important things.

What You Should Not Do During Abstinence

During self -abstinence, we do have a tendency to be ‘lazy’ or ‘sticky’ because no one is monitoring. Don’t be like that. Even if you don’t feel any effect now, it may cause problems in the future.

This is one of the things that is always taken lightly, avoid it!

1. No Planning

Despite self -confinement, you need to have a plan so that you can take care of the family while taking care of yourself and the baby.

In the beginning, it may take you a while to find the rhythm, but set your goals and prioritize your own health.

For example, get up early in the morning so you can take care of yourself, cook, or have breakfast while asking your husband to take care of the baby before going to the office. Or, you can take turns with your husband to bathe the baby. This way, you have some quality time for yourself.

2. Stretching

This curve is not only used to restore slimming, but it also has advantages in terms of postpartum health. According to Datin Sharifah Anisah Barakbah, author of the book Ensiklopedia Perbidanan Melayu, the practice of bending can shrink a swollen uterus and also helps to set the position of the peranakan from ‘falling’. It also improves posture, relieves back pain and speeds up the discharge of dirty blood.

In addition, we are more comfortable and confident to move, thus facilitating the process of breastfeeding.

Now there are various types of modern bends sold in the market. If in the past the reason was that it was difficult to wear a strap, now there is a type of ‘zap on’ or zipped. It’s easy. So, don’t be lazy! Also use stretch mark cream for pregnancy Malaysia to ease the stretch marks.

3. Do Not Wear Socks

Wearing socks during abstinence is also often taken lightly. If they follow the advice of the ancients, they will allow it to be removed while taking a shower or going to the toilet only. The reasons are hot, uncomfortable, and sloppy.

Preferably, it should be worn at all times. In fact, scientific studies have shown that sleeping in stockings has many health benefits. However, instead of socks, you can also wear soft slippers that are suitable to be worn indoors. As long as there is a pad between our feet and the floor.

This practice aims to prevent our leg veins from knotting and prevent ‘wind’ from entering our body. When feeling lifeless, dizziness flies and so on, that is a sign that our body is entered by ‘wind’.
